Food Guidelines for Coronary Heart patient

People with coronary heart disease can not consume food vain. So, how to cook the food needs to be for people with coronary heart disease.

There are some guidelines for food sufferer of this disease.

  • Apply a balanced diet
  • Limit cholesterol to 300 mg / day. Fat consumption 25 percent total calorie needs, consists of 10 percent saturated fat and 15 non-saturated fat. Restrict the use of kitchen salt (NaCl), also food that contains fat and water content of Natrium high.
  • Choose low-fat meat.
  • Remove all fat from food cooked before.
  • Use low-fat milk for all foods that use milk. Avoid cooking with coconut milk.
  • The method cooked that it was recommended was boiled, steamed, stir-fry or roasted.
  • Use the new oil, avoid using recycled oil. For, saturated fatty acid not changed to trans fatty acid that can improve Lipoprotein LDL (bad Cholesterol) and lower Lipoprotein HDL (good Kolosterol).
  • When the fry, try using cooking oil with hot medium.
